EDIT: On a semi-related note, why is it that we have to make our toons pretty. What if I WANT my warrior to be fat and hairy with a keg instead of a six-pack? What if I want my mesmer to be balding and wearing glasses? Why can't I do this?

I gotta agree, CrazyCoyote definetly does have a point!

I wear a goatee

in real life. I've worn a full beard for some time, too. All my active characters are female, but if I ever want to create a male toon it would be nice to be able to create an ingame look-alike of myself.

Clipping can't be such a major issue, as some of the NPCs (dwarves!!) wear rather large beards, and it looks quite okay.

Beards ftw!

One thing tho- concerning the famous face fiasco... Its now apparent to me that my mesmer does in fact have an a la sourvavov or whatever that one was....its kinda light, but its definately there! (and like the others said, there is a fullout beard too)
